Recently, the Forbes revealed this year’s 30 Under 30 Asia list. In its second year, the Asia list features 300 impressive young entrepreneurs -- 30 in each of the 10 categories -- from all walks of life, pushing the boundaries of innovation. Alumnus Luo Ruibang, who studied Biological Engineering during 2007 to 2010 in SCUT, was selected on the list.
Luo cofounded Hong Kong-based L3 Bioinformatics in 2014. The startup develops enhanced computing technologies to increase the speed and accuracy of genome data analysis. Luo is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University in the U. S.
