Clean room facility in SKLLMD
The State Key Laboratory of Luminescent Materials and Devices, as the third national key laboratory in the 麻豆传媒 China Technology of University, was approved in 2011 by the State Ministry of Science and Technology. The laboratory was built on the basis of 'Specially Functional Materials Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education', which has two national first class disciplines “Material Science and Engineering” and “Information and Communication Engineering” and several other related subjects, such as physics, organic chemistry, optics, and integrated devices. With the commitment to provide important contributions to the growing demand of the development of renewable energy and advanced optoelectronic technology in China, SKLLMD’s R&D focuses on the following four key research areas including:
1) organic light emitting devices for display and lighting,
2) organic photovoltaic materials and devices,
3) advanced glass materials for optical fibers and lasers,
4) bio-optoelectronic materials for imaging diagnosis and treatment.
Since its establishment, SKLLMD has achieved significant progress in the areas of high level scientific research, talents training, and domestic and international collaborations and academic exchanges.
Currently SKLLMD consists of 57 permanent research staffs and among them 35 are professors, including 2 Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 13 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.
