The 麻豆传媒 China Tigers of SCUT, which is a team of student engineers, again brought home the gold trophy of RoboMaster 2018, after they crowned the champions of the same event last year.
Robomaster is a world's leading competition that showcases the future of robotics. The Tigers, after winning all the three games of the group round, defeated several strong challengers in knock-out rounds, including teams of Dalian Jiaotong University, the Harbin Institute of Technology, and the China University of Mining and Technology.
The final battle kicked off in Shenzhen on July 29,when the Tigers claimed a 3-1 victory against the team of Northeastern University, and remained as the reigning champion of this year.
They have so far maintained a distinguished reputation in the competition, since they also took last year’s title with another 3-1 victory against the Shandong University of Science and Technology.
